curbed today! damnit!
curbed today! damnit!
so im exited today cause i was getting my sprint springs installed (see suspension forum on that post) and stop by Sams Club couple hours before for some groceries. anyway i alway park far away and next to a curb on one side to minimize a door ding at least on that side. so when i was ready to leave, for some reason i totally forgot i had a curb on the passenger side and cranked the wheel and hit the damn curb. anyway i have a scape on the rim which is so skinny that its not noticeable unless you look for it but i know itas there and this is kil, ling me. i am going to get some new rims soon, prob Volk or HRE but i need to know what i can do to cover this up. so my question is, does anyone know the number for touch up paint on the 18 inch stock rims? im thinking of wet sanding the scrape and then covering it up with touch up paint. im also thinking of trying one of those silver magic markers which will prob do the trick. anyone else got any ideas? thanks guys you dont know how sick i feel about this. im one of those dudes that like to wash my car twice a week to the point where it needs waxing ecvery 3 weeks or so from the repetative car washes. its like a disease i have. Obsesive Compulsive i guess. anyway please let me know. also curious as to the price of a new rim or unblemished used one. thanks again. RacerX

Re: curbed today! damnit!
From what I hear the stock 18inch is arounf $750 to $850. I ran over a rock or something and have a slight scrape on my rim if you find out about that touch up paint any info would be appreciated.
