Tint.....how dark?

I depends where you live or should I say what you can get away with. Some
states actually allow tinting your side windows if you stay within the allowed
percentage. Mine are 35% and I haven't had a problem......yet! Check with
the local tint shops and see if they have some idea on the % you can get
away with. It would be a shame to go with 2% and get busted the first
week.......right?

i've always wondered if illegal tint can get you in trouble in an accident that isn't your fault. can the other person or police make you liable even if you are not at fault?

i have 15% all around, looks good and its plenty dark. At first it wo'nt be as dark, but give it two weeks to fully set adn u'll be very happy. I also put some LED's in the side markers to give the side of my car more light so i can see things at night with my windows up.
If ur down in central florida, i know a great place here in daytona

I just got 35% all around yesterday. I`ll post pics later. It looks pretty good. My last G had 20%. This is still pretty dark and I don`t have to worry about the cops. I choose to go with SolarTek brand and with their high-performance line. It has a lifetime warranty. This is not glossy. It does have a metallic element to it, but I have no problems with FM/AM reception. It was only $179 w/ tax. My guy offered me a higher gloss finish(more metal in this film)for $269, but I thought it looked too glossy and reflective. It also gave a more greyish look. I wanted a black look to my tint.
