Get new rimes. Sell your 06 wheels for the exhaust.

 

I went with the exhaust first because I was ok with the
19's.

Then sold the 19's for $1200 and now I'm waiting from Japan

 

i voted for exhaust now because you said youre in a budget. you mentioned the set of Winnings will cost you $3000+ . that's already a grip. then to eliminate the spaces between the wheel and the fender, youre going to have to drop it (depending on what you want to sit on). assuming you want coilovers. that's another bucket load of cash to add on to the $3000. my point where i'm getting, wheels and suspension is one thing, exhaust is another. good luck on it, ken! havent seen you since the meet. whatever works out for you, you best to show it off at the meet

I'm sure you can get used Volks in great condition for ~2000 or ~2500.. And I got my rims first the got my HKs exhaust. Rims make the biggest difference in looks.

 

I would go with the exhaust first and get new wheels when you have more $. You can always sell your 19's for some good money too.

 

man, i dont know why everyone is so quick to part with the 19s...i think the stockers are awesome and one of the best 'stock' wheels put on a car. they a SEXY. with the cash, get an exhaust and lower your ****. and a likely answer is that people want to get rid of the 19s to be original, however everyone has volks these days, or one that look quite similar. keep the 19s, drop it and put that exhaust on. thats what i would do if i had cash

 

I'd say wheels. i love the tune of the exhaust note that my car makes now. Can't beat it.

agreed imo the 19s look great so why not go with the exhaust for a little more power and a better sound

 

i have some TE37s LOL no exhaust yet but i went wheels first.

haha. yea. Budget is the biggest thing to me right now. I have an internship/parttime right now and i start to pay everything on my own (car, eat, life). I am cool with that though.
