What, do people get different prices or what

It would just save so much time. May even boost sales if
"other" people see what I would be seeing.
agreed ... one reason I think they dont post prices is due to every shop sells em at different prices ... and if Volk posted how much they sell them to the distributors ... people would flip out on the profit they would make (common sense )

but damn those would be a nice set of shoes

Expensive? Yes, you cant complain about pricing on a high quality product. I cant name one forged monoblock wheel that is offered in a 20 inch. People really shouldnt be complaining about the prices. Honestly, what were you guys expecting? This wheel was developed in mind for the new GTR but also works out great for the Z/G.

Yes, they can be ordered in different colors. What most people dont know about, even authorzied VOLK dealers, is that RAYS does have a color chart. This color chart is not easily accessible, even for dealers. I can get this wheel in all the other colors that youve seen on VOLK wheels; Gloss Black, Diamond Black, Matte Black, Titanium Gunmetal, Gunmetal, Mercury Silver, Magnesium Blue, Takata Green, Gold, etc.

Yes, this wheel is not concave. The purpose of this wheel was designed for MAX lip, not concavity. And yes, it is a polished lip that you see. The 20 inch TE37 will feature a polished lip.

Let me clear the air on the pricing. There is only ONE MSRP pricing structure. VOLK dealers must abide by a strict rule for MAP pricing and even quotations. If they do not follow the rule, there are many things that can happen to that dealer and the worse thing that can happen is thay they can get cut off and not be able to offer VOLK wheels to the public. You guys wanted MSRP pricing? Welll here it is:

20X8.5 MQ. SILVER, BRONZE $1500.00
SPECIAL COLOR $1530.00

20X9.5 MQ. SILVER, BRONZE $1550.00
SPECIAL COLOR $1580.00

20X10.5 MQ. SILVER, BRONZE $1600.00
SPECIAL COLOR $1630.00

20X11.0 MQ. SILVER, BRONZE $1625.00
SPECIAL COLOR $1655.00

No its diamond cut like the LE series. The lip will only be polished on certain colors like Mercury Silver and any of the blacks.

^+1 - for that kinda money I'd want some thoughtfully designed metalwork. Of course, you get outstanding engineering considerations top to bottom, but...ehhh, its just not doin it for me dawwgg.

Ritchie...leave your wheels as they are! Your car is one of the sickest on the board already.

I can understand your perspective but the TE37 is a very thoughtfully designed wheel, if you think about the function of the wheel. The TE37s design was more about functin over form, the structural rigidty cannot be compromised. Every monoblock wheels that RAYS produces is about structural integrity, quality, strength, and lightness, not how the wheel looks.

I have to disagree on the "looks" part. Every major wheel manufacture always considers looks/style with R/ & D. Thats why they have focus
groups that help with this. When I had my detail business I would receive
calls from these manufactures to give our input and we got paid for
our opinion.

On a separate note. I have to agree. These wheels do nothing for me
at there price. I'll take it a step further by saying. I would not buy these
if they were less then 1/2 that price. But that's me.

Thanks for that MSRP

at that price...put me down for the MAG spokes. If I had that cash laying around I'd pay for something worthwhile rather than the fact that it's 20" and polished.

I completely agree with you. I think I didnt use to correct terms but my point is that with RAYS, function comes before form. They will R&D how the wheel will function and perform before they come up with a design for it.
