I see a lot of crappy black painted emblems on Toyotas. Seems to be a popular cosmetic change on Camrys. Black chrome emblems are far more impressive when compared side by side (IMHO). Be advised - the process is not cheap.

what does black chrome look like? and is this similar to black pearl link below shows a pic of a rear nissan emblem color " black pearl"

Black chrome = black pearl. I'd be surprised to find out that Lexus offered it as a factory option. I think the dealerships were offering that at their level. I could be wrong. I know I've seen them on various Lexus models more frequently than any other brand. If it gives you an idea of how much it costs, I take a loss at a price point of $50 per emblem (including the emblem itself). And I got better pricing because I sent more than 35 emblems in the first batch run.

Yeah, it is hard to photograph and give them justice. Lighting plays a big part. Much better looking in person like K67p67 said.
