Cant believe this happend

I just backed out of my garage and hit this car's side view mirror that i didnt even notice was there. There are usually never cars there, but this time there was. I was so mad that this person can park there!! enough about the story...

what can i do about this

is it only scratches? if it is, you can probably get it buffed out if anything

yeah but paint is chipped. does that mean it can still get buffed out?

maybe you can try to buff it out, and if not get it repainted...

repainted? isnt that expensive.. haha its on the back side of the car too.

buff first, not satisfy, then repaint. Usually they don't repaint the whole car unless you want to, only enough to cover the spot. Bring to a good place and willing to pay around $500 for a little spot...... =) GL

Yep try to buff it out and if it doesn't work buy some touch up paint at the dealer for 7 bucks. lol it doesn't look to bad and BTW if you can only see it in the light, you should be good. GL with it.

Use a clay bar first, then buff. It looks like it will all come out.

if there are no dents try using a highly abrasive rubbing compound not rubbing TOO hard, then polish and wax.

as others have said. try rubbing it out. if you have some chips and want to fill them with touch-up paint? wet sanding after that would be needed and
then use clear of it and another wet sand/polish/wax.

Or, get the whole thing painted. should run you around $100-$125
