I've been trolling this site for a while and I just decided to jump in. You guys are a great source for info and I think that some of you are pretty funny. I know that you like to rip on some with stupid questions and I feel like an idiot that this is my first question. How often do you clean the filter for the Injen CAI and with what??

I would buy a KNN cleaning kit and follow the instructions, that's what I did with all the CAI I got on my cars.

 

Welcome Gwiz69. We're glad you came out of the shadows. It's more fun jumping in once in a while.
Your question isn't stupid, but don't be put off by our antics; We all get ripped at one time or another, and it's all in fun.
I think Montreal Coupe's suggestion is a good one. The kit is called a 'Recharge filter care service kit' and should work fine on Injen filter.
As to how often depends on how quickly it gets dirty. I do mine twice a year but I don't do many miles, or get it very dirty.
