xenon

Anyone know why our xenon headlights look so different from the 350z's? My boyfriend has a Z and his light have a blue hue to them from the front. My G does not. It looks white.

Re: xenon

The 350z uses the same or similiar bulb from what I know. However, the 350z uses a projection lense which aims the Xenon bulb's light directly through a special magnifying lense. This could cause the optics and color hue to look slightly differant from ours. I like the 350z better as well and personally can't figure out why Infiniti would use a reflector bulb setup on our G's and not the projector like the 350z. Hope that helps. Peace.

Re: xenon

Yeh but the 350z has had a lot of complaints as far as how well the xenons work. People say that they are too dim.

My friend has the Z and I have the sport coupe and honestly I think my xenons work better than his.

Re: xenon

I think it may have to do with what you're used to... my dad has a 350z and his car has the best headlights of any car I've driven. Maybe compared to BMW's or Audi's they may not be as good, but hey, I haven't driven those cars at night. It's probably the same with the G coupe. If you're used to crappy old headlights, they'll seem like a godsend.

Re: xenon

I dunno....the way that Infiniti designed their headlights are kinda bad. In pure darkness they don't reach far enough. Even the light cutoffs on the Acura TL's are wider in comparison.
