well i bought one off of ebay... i don't like them at all... yes it does help a little in moving the belt away from your neck, but it pulls up on the horizontal part of the belt, so it's always sitting on your stomach. so annoying i've never used it since i bought it...

 

How well do you think these little plastic things will hold up in a crash?

yes, I was thinking the same thing.

It looks like it causes slack in the seatbelt while you wear it, which would not be good in case of a crash.

Just wondering...

I have a 2004 coupe with the same problem, of course. I guess I just live with it, and keep adjusting the seatbelt down away from my neck every 10 minutes.

This is true and I've been seeing them posted here for over a year now

 

I doubt those are DOT Approved... I would guess that that little plastic clip will break, and that extra slack in the seat belt will cause you to fly forward instead of the seatbelt locking...
