Looking for a reputable installer of the clear bra in the San Jose Bay Area. I did the search on the 3M site and contacted C.S. Specialties. Does anyone have any experience with this establishment? Is there a better place I should contact?

I want to do this as soon as possible cause I know I am going to end up being stuck behind a Cal Trans truck sooner or later : (

i was searching for reputable clear bra dealers in the bay area as well. everyone i contacted wanted from $600-900 for the install. i ended up doing it myself for about $250. hope you have more luck finding someone for a reasonable price. i've seen posts offering $400 in other areas in the country though.

 

We at MachIII are an authorized Clearshield dealer. The clearbra covers a portion of the hood, the bumper, the fenders, the mirrors, door edge guards, fuel lid cover, and rear bumper piece for $450 installed.........tax included. There is a 5 yr warranty that covers it from bubbling, peeling, and discoloration. This film is one of the clearest on the mkt and has protected my Gs and other cars through many nicks that would've done significant damage. Please contact Sam for further information.

I highly recommend Jeremy at Invisi-Guard. He does excellent work and everything is guaranteed; he is located in Santa Rosa, and is well worth the drive. His office number is 707-546-4047.

 

I too would like to also recommend Jeremy at Invisiguard. It is a little drive to Santa Rosa but their work was excellent. I have been to G35 meets and seen some shoddy clear bra work. I have seen corners that did not adhere, lint, dust, dirt stuck inside of the bra, uneven cuts, etc.

Make sure your installer does their work indoors to eliminate dust (just like tint).

Also, try to get the kit that is not made of 10 or 11 pieces. It looks a little tacky when you can see the lines all over the place.

A lot of drivers in the bay have used him. Let him know that you heard about it on g35driver.com and you can get special pricing.

I did the clear bra 2-3 weeks after I bought the car. I am so glad I did as protected my bumper from a lot of rocks.
