hey cloud, how many bottles of the motul did you need for the clutch flush?

 

Grats Jonny, and I won't be so kind...bastard I want that exhaust....... on another note,grats again,and enjoy. Put up sound clips when the exhaust gets put in,I've yet to hear the amuse exhaust,although I'm debating on whether or not to save for it haha. 2600 bucks just doesn't sit well for me for an exhaust.

 

damn that must be a big tough staple to do that much damage. but like you said its just cosmetic and most importantly its not going to be visible like the exterior of you car so just install it. The curb rash is visible so i would have that taken care of by someone. Preferably the dealership just in case they mess up, you can go back & whoop some ***.

 

Sent a pic to the vendor just to see what he thinks on the mounting bracket, and I think I'm gonna just have the dealer try to fix the wheels while they are putting on the suspension. 2 birds one stone kinda thing--more money but more leverage when dealing w/ dealer.

 

lol. I've been debating the exhaust too. I actually didn't order the amuse exhaust--I ordered their titanium intake pipe that is really made for the Z, so I might have to make some minor modifications to fit it to my g.

 

I'm looking to doing the same ARC titanium strut bar & Nismo suspension as you. Let us know how the install goes. I hope there are no issues with installing both of these parts.

 

Is there anyone else who has ordered and installed the nismo G-attack suspension for the cpv35? I need to ask you a question

You're having the dealership install your mods? Hmm....

 

They've installed all my mods so far. Everything has been fine. I was introduced to the tech that only works on performance parts at the dealership and he seems very capable. The dealership warranties all their work (but obviously not the parts) and when some things have gone wrong (throw, cel lights)--they have replaced throttle body, a couple of sensors--no questions asked. I keep my car real clean and it is well respected at the dealership I take it to. I am also usually able to watch the install or take progress looks under the car when the installs are being done. The only downside is the extra cash charged by the dealer, but other than that, everything has been fine and I always get a clean and new loaner during installs.

Looks like you caught the "mod" buy pretty bad.....good luck with your upgrades.

As far as your rims.....I messed up my OEM 18" front wheel twice. Each time it was worse than the time before....

I had my dealership fix it both times.....they used an outside vendor who does the repairs on site....Charged me $95 each time. And honestly, I found the repaired part(s) to be invisible with the exception of the finish, which was a little more rough than the factory finish. I rubbed them out each time, and the repairs were not noticeable at all....

Just a heads up if your still considering keeping your stock wheels....and, they look less damaged then mine did the second time I hit the curb....
