Re: Japanese tuners...not fancied by the G35?

There is a bunch of options for the G35. Damn, what do you want, a 800 HP Supercharger or Turbo?? Get real, you'll have to do so much internal work and everything else, which there are parts out there for you to do that, so unless you have everything done and just waiting for that 600 + RWHP range, don't complain so much. Give it time, more stuff will come out, but still, there's plenty of stuff for the car as is, you're just not looking very well.

350z is more of the modder car. The Gcoupe is supposed to be like "luxury" stuff, IMHO. There will always be more parts for the Z.

I'm not so sure about that. While the Z has more history here in the US, the Skyline has a lot of history overseas as well (as does the Fairlady). Also, look at the number of G's being produced to the number of Z's. In just a few years the G market is going to be HUGE compared to the Z market. If only a fraction of the G owners start modding up their cars, it'll easily rival the Z market or even surpass it as far as total numbers.

Hey dude, what do you mean in detail? What are the numbers if you know them, or anyone knows them?? I was wondering, cuz here in Central Cali, G35s are kinda scarce. and i love that idea of having a rare car! I dont want the number rocketing up like the Z, too many Z's out there....dont want that to happen to the G....thanks bro, peace!

Re: Japanese tuners...not fancied by the G35?

I'm not talking really concerned with HP

I'm talking about
Making body kits or panels that actually contour to the body or something that matches and will present it self useful for aerodynamics. That stillen junk is disgusting and does nothing.

I want suspension damper kit from amuse directly balanced for the g35

I’m talking about nice LSD’s 2.0 lsd made of carbon …

I want tuners to take this car show the potential of the handling characteristics…

A decent exhaust would be nice too.. not this stillen and borla crap flowing around…
Full titanium parts…is good

350z is getting all the attention for no reason.. its not a better handing car nor is it faster…

Re: Japanese tuners...not fancied by the G35?

More body kits would be nice, and yeah, i'm not a fan of Stillen at all with any of their products.

You have Veilside, Impul, Nismo, Gialla, and i'm sure more to come.

I believe Nismo has something coming out or already it out as far as the LSD, I think it's a 1.5 that can be converted to a 2. Also you might want to look into the KAAZ LSD and see what can be done.

Tein makes a Suspension Damper Kit, but still there are many good Suspension setups.

Tuners will take note of this car, since it's basically the same as the 350Z, and a lot of parts for the 350Z will work for our cars. It takes time, money, R&D, so unless you have all of those resources to produce Quality, be patient.

What do you mean a decent Exhaust? You have Nismo, Fujitsubo, Top Secret, HKS, Amuse, Impul, Injen, Greddy, Tanabe, B&B, Blitz, Apex-i, and a few more. You can get a Titanium 350Z exhaust, add a 3 - 6 inch extender on it so it fits flush with the car.

The 350Z is getting attention cause it's a Race/Sport Car, and there are plenty of more reasons of why it's getting attention. The G35 is more of a Luxury car, but both off of the same platform. It is a lil faster, but with a Z-Tube and filter, will be back with it and then some. Then just keep up with the modding and you'll be at the same, more, or less performance as the 350Z depending on those parts you add to the car.

Good luck modding and finding what will suit your needs.

With that screen name and the topic you've started here you should know that with even a modicum of skill and vision an exhaust kit made for one application using the VQ can be made to fit another application...Having a decent budget also helps, but time, skill, patience, and creativity are the cornerstones of tuning

A couple companies are making those mirrors...Prim@ru has made a pair for the Z that are based off of the Concept and are rumored to be making a version for the G35
