The ones down by the shifter are unsafe imo. Too hard to look all the way down there. The one g35nv has on above the temp display is much better for monitoring on the go.

 

Sorry to get a little off topic, but what exact color paint and manufacturer did you use for the OEM Silver interior panels? I re-painted mine with a House of Kolor silver but it had way to much flake, and was too blue.
