Very interesting lock situation

So when i test drove my car, of course i took the key, hit unlock, got in and drove. Well i went to go pick it up today, and for reasons i have no idea, i decided to unlock the car via the door key slot.
Now heres where it gets interesting. The key wont turn in the driver side key hole, and wont turn in the passanger side key hole either. Interesting... maybe i had the wrong set of keys? nope... i hit unlock, got in, and the key works just fine in the ignition. Me, the salesmen, and a slew of people we called over are all very confused by the issue.
They have no clue what could have caused it...either someone tried to break into the car or he got the igniton part replaced or what. They are probally going to replace the locks or make keys or w.e they have to do....
but i am just curious to what could have caused this? ... Now i have to wait till probally sat to pick her up because i wont be around... and shes getting detailed again they said... which i assume they said to please me but it does nothing more than worry me..ha.
Thoughts?

tl;dr (too lnog; didn't reead): Wtf is wrong with my locks?
edit: By the way, it is an 04.

Bad move with the detailing man. If I were you I would call them and tell them you changed yopur mind, "DONT WASH MY CAR". They do nothing but swirl it up, and then to make right what they made wrong it will cost a lot more. So go call them right now.

Well have it checked out by the dealer! Someone might have tried to break into the car or it could be easier for someone to. My 05 only has a keyhole on the driver side but its never been used except to roll up the windows a few times.
