6K to spend..what to do??

I have 6K to put into my G, (06 black 6mt) i def. wanna make it faster so im thinking of going with ---> SSV intake, Injen CAI, UR pullies, Stillen dual tip exhaust. And as for looks thinking of ---> 30% tint, tein lowering springs, 20" black wheels, painted headlight housing (maybe tail light too), painted grill. Anyone think of anything else that will fit in this budget? or anything to change? any ideas would help

Why not just save a little more and get Forced Induction?

TINMAN May 10, 2007 08:46 AM

Motordyne MREV2 and 5/16" spacer. Best bang for the buck imo.

TURBO!!!

Good luck finding the SSV, from what I hear it is back ordered for over a year. Also don't go with any Injen products. Either get an AEM CAI or get the NISMO one.

SSV is for bling only...if you want performance, just get the Motordyne spacer and you're all set...

That being said, don't expect too much from bolt-ons...maybe 30-40 whp tops and that's with everything but the kitchen sink. If you're looking for power, maybe you got the wrong car? :dunno:

ct350g May 10, 2007 10:18 AM

use the 6k to get 26" spinners and a motech system exhaust... or, just get some sweet zebra skin bucket seats like I did!!! Is this thread for real?

imtheprez May 10, 2007 10:24 AM

i mean im not tryin to build a race car..just a lil more power..and if i got spinners they would be 30" and id lift my car (dumbass)

617G May 10, 2007 10:28 AM

if you want a little more power, engine reliability, and a warranty, consider the STILLEN supercharger...

imtheprez May 10, 2007 10:30 AM

^ yea thats one thing i was looking into, but i read that SC put strain on ur motor and id hate to pay that much and something happen to my motor...gonna do some more research though

Hi-TechG35 May 10, 2007 10:32 AM

6k...hmmmm.. well if you dont want to go FI I'd say go with some headers, aftermarket exhaust, test pipes, the spacer and an intake. Afterwards get a decent suspension and a nice set of wheels. Look around on the forums too because you can find some great deals in the classifieds.

LMAO
