Hand signs... NO not shooting a bird
Hand signs... NO not shooting a bird
I have had my G for little over a week now. I have noticed how much attention this car gets. Some times it worries me about the intentions on what the people are going to do. Case in point. This person did a hand signal to me. I assumed he was telling me how he liked my car. But how do I really know that is what he was doing or trying to tell me or worst what he was going to do to me? My friends don't use hand signals like that to each other or anyone else.
So what are the common hand signals that the "younger" generation uses to communicate to each other?

Re: Hand signs... NO not shooting a bird
Well i am 20 years old and whenever i see cars like g35's, SVT's, M3's, S4's and basically any other car that i like, i always stick my hand out the window and point my finger at them and nod my head to signal to them that i am acknowledging their good taste in cars. Sometimes people flash their lights or wave back or give a thumbs up, but most of the time i dont get any kind of signal back, which for some reason does not really bother me and hasn't discouraged me from waving to other drivers....yet

A few friends of mine throw what is effectively known as "the schocker" to show approval of a nice car-- most people don't know how to respond. I stick with the thumbs up, fist, accompanied by a head-nod. Now if people are flashing you gang signs, I'd be avoiding that part of town...
