Well I was going to get the G37 but was told by the salesman that I should contact her later this summer and she could get me a GREAT deal on a black G35. So I believe this is what I will be going for.


What I'd like to do is see all the appearance things for the G35. I'm new and I don't exactly know where to look. I saw in a thread that someone had blacked out headlights and then there were some blacked out headlights with chrome housings? Also I'd like to know what grilles are out there for it. Basically, what do you guys think will look good on the car? I plan on getting black deep dish wheels with polished lips. Help me pimp my ride!

you're asking very typical questions...black wheels on black coupes are very common. gialla grilles are very popular.

 

get the g37.. why would you get a g35 when the new one is coming out

 

I don't want to pay 35-40k and I do not like the looks of the G37. It looks more like the G35 4 door than anything.

As for the mods, please do some research and find out what you want and then ask the sponsors for a great member price. There are soooooo many options for the coupe you need to spend some time looking first.

I'm just waiting for the G37's to come out and snag a great deal on a '07 G35.
A good friend of mine just picked up his black '07 coupe 2 weeks ago for 37 G's, hopefully, I can get one later this year for around 30-34 G's. The problem is that the dealer only has 1 Laser Red 6MT left, in the sports package. Hopefully, no one is going to want that except me. *crosses fingers.

I like the looks of a G35 better than the G37 too, but I'd still buy the G37 Coupe if I bought a new car insead of another G35 Coupe. That new G37 should be noticeably quicker than the current car, will probably be nicer inside, and I wouldn't doubt if it's fuel economy was better too.


That being said, I absolutely adore my current 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT with the Brembos.

It usually takes seeing this early pic of my car (or a stock version around town)
to make me realize that the G35, while having a lot of potential, doesn't look
a ton better than the G37. They are similar in so many ways, and the
differences can be changed. Some of the same things I changed on my G35
are the things that I would likely want to change on the G37.
The front bumper was too tame and a bit too rounded, needing a lip.
Likewise, I didn't like the OEM rear-spoiler.






The G37 has just as much potential (cosmetic-wise) as the G35, providing the aftermarket produces the right products for the car.

 

The G35 is Whack, and especially in Black. But hey it's your money
