Grounding kit - warranty question and other....

Hey guys, 2 quick questions to all of you who have the grounding kit:

1. Does anyone know of a good site or maybe has a diagram/pictures on how to install the 7-wire kit? I have written instructions but it would be much easier to use a visual.

2. Has your dealer ever gave you any hard time for having the grounding kit - say threatened to void the warranty from whatever reason? or maybe blamed whatever problem that you had, on that kit?

- Thanks.

A grounding kit would probably be the last none source for any such warranty voiding claims, as its purpose can't cause anything negative UNLESS you get a cheap kit and the non-welded type crimps get corroded and in return cause "problem areas" on your engine. Other than that I can't come up with any feasible claims against them.

Ducati,

The kit I have is a 7-wire kit made by "Insaneamine" from Z-Xtreme. He was recommended by "gordgee". Here is a link to the kit I bought:

I don't think it's a cheap made kit.
What do you think?

Looks good, but then again most grounding kits do. What you need to ask is if the crimps are actually welded shut and what the core is made out of!

From their website:

Seven grounding cables made of 4 gauge audio quality 99.9% oxygen free high grade, high stranded copper wire. Each wire is insulated with a chemical and heat resistant coating able to withstand gasoline, oil, and temperatures of up to 125 degrees C.

Gold plated ring terminals which maximize the conductivity at the connection points and inhibit corrosion. Each terminal is double crimped for strength and covered with industrial polyolefin heat shrink for that professional looking finish
