Questions on G35

Hi, i have joined this great site today.
so far so amazing looking at member's G35s..

i am going to buy a new car this coming september.
and i am looking at few cars and i am here to ask you guys for help.

2006 325i(40,000km) , 2007 323i (new) or 05 G35 (40,000km)...

see i am looking at these three for now, but i think BMW is just too much
cash for me and i guess G35 i can buy it for little bit cheaper.

but i am not sure if i am making a great decision here.
i have few friends who own G35 and they say it's a great car but lots of fuel consumption.

i dont know if i should go for the new 323 or g35.
g35 to me is cheaper to purchase, but i am not sure about maintenance
or performance wise.

I am not into great speeding, maybe speed here and there but
i just like the look of the car. it's a great looking car.

questions would be

1. G35, 40,000km done, is it worth buying? i mean
compared to 323i or 325i? if the are similar in prices? please dont be bias.

2. G35, is there much change in 04 model and 05 model? exterior and interior wise?

3. Should i try to get a 05 G35 with navigation or will it be better for me to get a external
navigation from shops, because i looked at one photo and it seemed to me that
05 G35 navigation was not that great in quality. (not too sure, sorry if i am wrong)

4. fuel consumption and maintenance fees please.

thank you so much for reading this far.
it's frustrating me so much that i have to suffer so much to decide on a car.
so please enlighten me and help me out guys.

thank you once again.
YK

If your buying this september why not the 2008 G37. It is going to hit the dealeships in august. The price is right and the car is sick!

answer: Prices are pretty much the same between the both and they are both decent cars...but the G is better

2. G35, is there much change in 04 model and 05 model? exterior and interior wise?

answer: There aren't many changes in the 04/05 models maybe a few interior parts (ie the radio comes with a **** instead of the flat buttons. The big changes come in the 06. The headlights, the design in the bumper, the wing and some other goodies.

3. Should i try to get a 05 G35 with navigation or will it be better for me to get a external
navigation from shops, because i looked at one photo and it seemed to me that

answer: If you plan on adding a system than don't get the Bose setup. It is a PITA to work with. But if you are not going to be cheap than just get it with the Nav and all of the other toys.

4. fuel consumption and maintenance fees please.

answer: Maintenance fees on the G are way less costly than on the Beamer. The brakes on average on the G will cost you no more than 700.00 (if you get the Brembo package) at the dealer. If you are mechanically inclined than you will save yourself some money by DIY. As far as fuel consuption, gas prices are high and it is all contingent upon your driving style. If you are a pedal to the metal type of driver than your finger will be to the trigger at the pump.

That sounds about right!

Just go for what you like the best. Out of those I would get the G for sure. I have always felt like the 323/325 was the BMW for people who could not afford a BMW.

if you look at the tack record of who spends more time in the shop, the BMW wins hands down. The G35 is just a MUCH more aggressive looking car. Plus you can do so many awesome mods and it won't look all pimped or riced out. I was deciding between the BMW and the G35 too. I chose the G35 and I don't have one ounce of regret.
