Lol they are trying to sell my 2005 G35 for 31,900

hi guys !

my X-G35 coupe was fully loaded / auto and had 15k miles on it.

I traded it to the dealer for 27k+1890(tax savings=$28900.

they have it posted for $31,900... WOW for a car that is 2.5 years old.
honestly i expect them to get/take 28500-29000 for the car...

I guess they'll high ball until it doesnt move then lower.

just suprised they are trying for 31,900 for my old ride.

Edit:and it looks like they kept the injen exhaust on it (prob left the crawford cats too)...

Edit:excellent condition with KBB is 34,400... WOW so for 6k more you can buy a brand new 2007.

glad to see it holds its value very well !

I'd post the link.. but i dont think im allowed to.

ppp

That's not too bad of an asking price. They will come down when the next owner comes along.

Most dealers in SF Bay Area are asking 33,500+ for 05-up USED G35's. Some ask for $36+. You know that price is going down. For a few dollars more, you can get a new one.

Yeah, used G35 prices are ridiculous. I see plenty of people trying to offload their 03/04's with 40k miles for $30k. If I remember right back when the G35 came out it sold for around $33k new? These cars aren't exotics or classics, I have no idea how people think these cars can command such resale prices.

They can ask whatever they want, they leave themselves some bargaining room.

That makes me feel awfully good about my deal. I picked up my '05 6MT (no Nav) with <13,500mi last October for ~$28,500 from the dealership. Maybe they weren't lying when they said they haven't sold one below $30k yet...

I'm with dirtywally on this one. I feel very good now about my deal. I picked up an '05 6MT coupe with 7K miles, everything but Nav, for 28K in October. It was a smaller dealer here in MD and the car had been on their lot for 3 months or so. They were asking 31,500 but I guess having a buyer with check-in-hand does alot to lower the price
