Annoying problem!!!!!

hey , i was wondering who else was having htis damn problem with the seat belts. everytime i shut the door the seatbelt gets caught in between the door and the seat and i have ot pop it out. its like the setabelt doesnt fit in between the door and the seat.

Yeah, you're not the only one. The d*** thing put several dings in my door panel the first month I had the car from that; Needless to say, I was not happy. Now, I just make an effort to make sure the seat belt is flat against the seat before I shut the door (when I remember; haha)

i put a piece of clear laminate on the door panel in that area....and it has worked pretty good. I used the type used for laminating ID cards.

03 6MT coupe, red/willow, premium, aero, splash guards, alum pedals, clear corners, 15% tint

When I unbuckle myself, I always make sure to tuck the seatbelt all the way back to it's place by assisting it while it's pulling back into place. I've also once heard that leaving the seatbelt hanging and dangling will wear out the "return" mechanism on the long run, which means, that after couple of years the seat belt will stop pulling back when you unbuckle yourself, but rather just be hanging.
