it happened at my work on my way to work, and "no one" knows i work there.

the only reason how i know is because... like i said earlier... on my way to work, i didnt hear any scraping noise (the nail hitting my fender upon acceleration)... and the parking i am at, is a secured parking. so im sure i most likely picked up it when parking.

Put a plug in it, move the tire to the rear wheel (if it is in the front) and go do some serious burn outs in an empty lot until the treads are gone and then go buy 2 new tires. Might as well get some use out of a ruined tire.

Sorry to hear your misfortune.......especially on a new tire.
I picked up a sliver of steel in my drivers sidewall on the rear of my car last summer....didn't even know it was there. It must of stuck out for a month or more before I hit it when washing the car.

I figured since my tire didn't loose any air, it was only superficial. WRONG......
I pulled it out and the tire leaked air like my valve was removed....

Cost me $1.300.00. Replaced all my tires since it was time.......
Sucks they can't fix sidewall damage, but I understand the importance of having a safe tire....

Hope it all works out for you.

Don't you know that you are supposed to replace tires in pairs? It's not good practice to have a new tire on one side of the axle and a worn tire on the other side of the same axle.

You should go with Federal 595's Cung, Its pretty much the only tire me and steve use anymore, cheap, grips hard and doesnt chunk when you abuse them. I get my 255/30/20's for like $115 each.
