New England

Hey there .. any Mainers or New Englanders here that own & drive & G35Coupe 5A/T? My dealer tells me they have yet to sell a coupe in Maine; before I plunk down $35K, I'd like to talk or chat with someone who uses it as a daily driver in this climate; I'm concerned about day to day driveability in the snow/ice.

Thanks Y'All!!

Re: New England

i live in michigan and the coupe is fine in the snow, of course its always best to have 2 sets of wheels with any rear-wheel sports car, use the winter set for 4 months, and regular street/summer/rain tires for the other 8 months, then swap
it really depends on how good of a driver you are on the snow...i mean, some people get soooooo afraid that they freak out whenever a tire slips and end up spinning out, its all about practice!

Re: New England

sedanman, great pics of your sedan!! Curious about the sat radio .. I asked my salesman if I could get that in the coupe, he said its not available in Maine! I thought you get the unit from the dealer & sign up for the service on the net. The reception .. should be 'available' anywhere .. I think .. yes?

Re: New England

I live in Southern Ontario, & have a 5A/T Coupe and driving it (with snows) is fine. The Michelin Pilot summers are useless in the snow. Like Rambo said, it takes a little practice with this car but easy to adapt to.
Sat radio service is (excuse the pun) still up in the air. LOL. No firm news on that yet.

Re: New England

Hey dude, Yeh, all the Coupes have SAT button, not sure on Sedans, (my 2003 didn't) but doesn't do anything, other than say "NO SAT".
Search here on F/A to see what's available now- Seems to me there is something (if you hook up the aftermarket receiver).
What Infiniti is going to do I have no idea. Their plans are up in the air after promising the service b4 now.
A member by the name of 'Philthy' was doing some work on it in his car.
Let us know what you find out.......Later......

Re: New England

Thanks for the update on the '.5' Sedan. Now if we can just get some use out of the Sat button that would be nice.
