Undercarriage Scrapes

Does anyone have a pic of the G35c undercarriage?

When I drive out of my parkade I can hear the bottom of my G scraping. Wondering if there's a skid plate or something??

Re: Undercarriage Scrapes

I have the same problem with some driveway ramps that are a little steep. The little black lip under the bumper scrapes the asphalt a lot. I thought it was the diffuser at first though. I'm getting cautious with every speed bump as well thinking the car may be too low or something.

Re: Undercarriage Scrapes

There is a guard lip on the front bumper, that will scrape and even break before damaging the car. $50-75 replacement I think. I did bottom out on a speed bump (mountain) once just past the front wheels. I think there are undercar views at Infiniti's website, take a look.

My G will bottom out coming out / in my garage if I have someone else in the car with me. The exaust pipes that come off the engine and form a Y is where the contact is made as far as I can tell. It doesn't appear that it has done any damage.

Re: Undercarriage Scrapes

Mine scrapes on the peak of my driveway if anyone else is in it. Had my neighbor watch and he said it was the exhaust flange. Doesn't appear to cause any damage, but i just take it really slow.
