Jump on this deal or wait a lil' more ??

Hey guys I need your opinions,
I've been looking around for a used G35 C and I just saw an ad in the paper from a local Toyota dealer used car lot today. $28,995 for a '05 AT, with everything except navi with about 12K miles. They posted this same car aboout 2 months ago for $32,995. I would jump on this deal but hesitant because I would love to drive a 6MT and let this baby rock and roll.

In your opinion, how good of a deal is this and what would you do if you were on this hot seat??
BTW, car is flawless, just minor scratches on the driver's leather seats.

According to kbb 28-29k is about average, not an amazing deal but not horrible. I would suggest looking around if you know how to drive manual just get a manual so you don't regret it. I have AT myself and I like it (I sit in 45-60min of traffic every morning & afternoon) but if that wasn't the case I would have went with a 6MT.

good price for a dealership. it looks like it's priced to move. if you wnat to deal with a private seller then you can get that price anyways.

i'd jump on it.

This says it all:

"I would jump on this deal but hesitant because I would love to drive a 6MT "

I can't see buying something like that if you have doubts. Hold out for a 6MT and you'll be happier in the long run.

I AGREE.

The G is my second car, my first is a v6 accord coupe. I LOVE my honda but, it's an auto. As wonderful as the honda is it always bugged me. Untill I bought a 6mt g35 that is.

Seems a little high to me. They have 06s on the lot here for 333-35 range, and advertising 5500 cash back. I would definitely check the Infiniti dealers.

you'll kick yourself if you don't get a 6MT, look around the boards here and see how much more fun you can have with the manual.

6mt=fun...
AT=for traffic...

Depends on your commute...BUT...The new 6MT has a lighter clutch so traffic is not that bad...I have a 06 6MT...Clutch is light not like the older 6MT...

You can still have fun in a 5AT in manual mode, its for people like me who are to lazy to learn how to drive stick

Not as much fun as manual but much more fun then throwing it in D.

Sounds like a good deal considering mileage......!

Unless you have plans of going FI the automatic is just as much fun as the
stick. This is the first car I've owned in the last 30 years that's automatic.
It's soooo nice not to worry about engaging the clutch every time you stop
and start. Stop/Go traffic on the freeways is a PIA with the 6MT especially
if your coming home tired (normal)!
