not even financing.. I am leasing.. I dont want to buy a car which will become a rust tank after 4yrs. Where I live, the winter... humidity is really ugly...

My maxima started having "bubbles" around the windows and the rubbers after 2 yrs only! NOw it is rusting all over...

Buyers remorse on large purchases is very common. It will pass.

Dang, that is alot. Not a good sign if had a bad gut feeling about it. Might wanna think that over cause that is mad money every month coming from your pocket when you could get something alittle cheaper and be stress free with some extra cash. Wont be able to mod as much with all the payments and what not either.

Yikes, that is alot. If you are worried, then it isn't a good sign. Normally, if I had buyers remorse, it would be a little bit after I bought the thing, not right when I am buying it. Now, when I bought my car, of course no remorse, there's nothing like having a brand new smelling car that wasn't owned by someone else. The thrill of driving it and getting to know it, there's nothing like it.

I'm sorry but $1200 a month for a G35? You are getting raped either by the dealer or your insurance agent....or you drive 6,000 miles a month.

car:750/mo
ins:125/mo
gas: whatever is left from the 1200$, so 325$/mo, I estimate 1300km/mo for work and stuff... and since you guys said that car is a real vampire on gas..325$ should be good?
btw, I am from canada.. so CND$

I am doubting myself now, I started to love the car ever since 2004, but wasnt able to afford it.. now that I can.. but I do feel the same with u guys, 1200 is a lot.. imagine after 4 yrs .. all the money I could save. But on the other hand, you only live once, that was why I wanted the car so badly and the thrill I got while test driving it blew me away!!! So now, I really dont know if I should go for it or cancel the leasing proposal and lose the 500$ deposit.

So what to do.. what to do???

Wes G was right, I am not planning to mod it, probably tint the windows.. but thats it, I love it as it is already

oh ya, forgot to add.. after all the payments.. car.. ins... rent.. cellphone.. internet..expenses..eating out.. chill...and can spend of 400$ per month on the visa for girl' shopping (since i always pay the bill in full), I can manage to have 500-600$ to put into savings whereas in my old job I could get about 700-1000$ savings per month if I dont spend too much on my visa card that month.. sometimes happens that I dont have any $ for savings..but now my new job pays 10k more and will get at least 5k-10k bonus every yr (which i didnt add into the calculations)

with the new car, for sure ill have to put 1200$/month aside which I cant touch, where before I can splurge it and dont even know where the $ went.
