Maybe I'm blind or missing something.. but I would say that the BMW won in that comparison based on the stats, except for price. 3.3 MPG though is going to cost most people about an extra $600 per year(assuming most people do about 20K miles a year).
For the AT equipped versions, the BMW was faster, lighter, pulled more lateral G's, had better fuel economy and had a better auto tranny than the G35 Coupe.
To be honest, I'd rather see a comparison of the 2 cars when equipped with a manual transmission though. It's a bit disappointing to see the G35 Coupe getting heavier with each new rendition of the car too.... almost 3800 pounds now with the Auto tranny... YIKES!
Maybe it's time to switch over to the new 370Z if they can find a way to keep that thing around 3200-3300 pounds.... since that will probably fly with the new larger-displacement VQ motor.
I also think the front end of the new G35 is flat out ugly.
