Idiot

Tonight i was pulling in front of my house to park and I curbed my rims...there only about a month old so i was pretty pissed....so pissed that i banged on my shifter(automatic) and somehow i hit it so hard it went into tiptronic and got stuck. so in trying to pull it back over i broke my shifter in half... So b\c i have a bad temper not only do i have a curbed rim, my shifter is stuck in tiptronic(cant take key out) and my shifter is broke in half... Hope everyone has a nice night...and dont get pissed off at your cars...

sorry about the rambling but i had to vent...any one know the price of AT shifters so i know what im lookin at?

flip open the tiny keyhole so you can move your shifter out of gear and into neutral without the key. I think its to the upper left of the shifter column... I had a bad night tonight too, read my post... "super super pissed" is the title...

congrats... now you have a stuck "short" shifter

ok on a serious note, I wouldnt worry about the cost of the shifter, but more of how much damage was caused in the shifter being stuck in tiptronic

is it even safe to leave it there and just have the ebrake on???? i guess just dont park on driveway or hills?

ouch dude...hopefully damage is minimal..id be more worried about the shifter than the rims...rims can be easily repaired

that sucks bro. I guess you'll just have to remember to calm down next time cuz i'm sure leaving it in tiptronic can't be good. Any pics?
