6MT Coupe handling?

This is the setup for a 2004 Porsche 911 GT2 with lightweight 18-inch Turbo Look II monobloc alloys. The front wheels (8.5J x 18) run on 235/40ZR 18 tyres, while the rears (12J x 18) come with 315/30ZR 18s. This configuration ensures optimum road handling in even the longest of high-speed bends.

Now is it possible to put this setup on the coupe 6MT?

And if not what is the widest setup without compromising the handling?

Re: 6MT Coupe handling?

I think a 10.5" width rim in the back is the most you go can go. You can get away with 285 on that size of a rim. Remember the GT2 needs a tire that wide because of the amount of power it puts down right under its engine to the rear wheels. Your G35 does not need rubber like that in the back to get a good launch unlike the Porsche.
