Who ever came up with the idea to turn your head?

 

yeah our car does have bad blind spots...i found this out when i first bought the car

 

Just get the Convex lenses put on, that should solve your blind spot problem big time, Carbign craft has those lenses.

 

normally, if i have your mirrors setup correctly.. i can eliminate the blind spot... I can get this accomplished with every car ive driven except my coupe.. so it is the design of the car... SUVs on the other hand are great... all those windows

 

Yeah... unfortunately, the only way to get full range of visibility in our car is pretty much to get those little add-on domed-side view mirrors that go in the bottom corner of the OEM mirror glass. I just hate the way they look, so I don't want them on my car.... even though it would probably make it more safe.

 

the b-pillar on the coupe is really deep, so the only way to eliminate the blind spot is to set your seat very far back (so you can see behind it) or very far forward (so you can see in front of it). I've found that raising the level of the seat helps some, but you should always check over your shoulder even if you don't 'sense' another car being there.

 

yeah blind spot is kinda rough at times....especially for me cause i have the dark window tint but i'm always checking my side mirrors so i usually know who is beside me and what not.

 

Seats as far back as possible, side view mirrors angled out as much as possible, quick shoulder checks and you should be ok. The blind spot is pretty mean, but hey, if the EX's surround video system works out, it might make it's way onto future models of the G...

 

yes... the G definately has blind spots.

 

Kinda tough for me to handle all the other aspects of driving with the seats as far back as possible.

 

ive got no problems with blind spots....if anything i think its better than my old cobra by far........

Side mirrors angled out as much as possible and the shoulder check work best. 3 years of driving and i've only almost runover somebody once

 

adjust your mirrors!.. left side: move head against window and adjust mirror until you can barely see the side of your car.. right side: move head directly to the center and then adjust the mirror until you can barely see the side of your car.

 

I went to Kragen and got this little squire mirrors that fit inside the side view mirrors. They are a lot smaller than the round ones. It helps a ton for the drivers side... Okay here is what they are called.. :K-Source Wedge Mirror: 2 1/2" x 1 7/16"" not really need for the passenger side.

 

You can tell just by looking at the outside. Big a/b/c c pillars, a high doorline, the windows are not very tall, a high reardeck, tiny mirrors...
