you should prolly take it to a shop and get an estimate from them.. it would be more accurate than coming for us

Ya I would just shop round from garage to garage and get a few estimates and choose the best. But remember just because it may be cheaper, does not mean it is the best quality!!! Regarding insurance, usually an accident will cost you more than a ticket just because it assumes you are a wreckless driver!!! lol Good luck!

Sounds to me like:

1) There's a salvaged title coupe that you want to buy and rebuild

or

2) You just hit somebody/something and wondering if it's worth paying out of the pocket or filing an insurance claim.
