Just found out that the only Inifiniti dealer on island has 2 07's left. Athens Blue and Serengeti Sand. Both are 5AT and priced almost the same (38K for the SS, 39K for AB) so the options are probably the same. This is probably my last chance to go for a brand new '07.
My heart's telling me to go for it but my mind's saying wait for the G37.

go the 07 route, by time UR ready to trade up, they should have all the kinks and bugs outa the G37, unless U like being a βeta tester...

either get the AB and keep it till the bugs are worked out, or wait for the G37. If it was me i would get the G37, i hate having the old model.

While I'm sure the G37 will have many improvements, I chose an 07 G35c. I don't like to own a car the first year it's out.

My one question to you though is have you driven both the stick and the auto to compare them? Even if you're not that good at stick (I wasn't when I got mine) you'll probably find the stick to be a much more fun car to drive. Like i just told someone else. I was set on an auto sedan forever and right before i bought it I drove a 6MT coupe and I was in love, completely different car. I just don't want you to spend all that money and then kick yourself 6 months down the road. sorry again about the big red font and whatnot.

 

wait the 6mt...hehe...i brought my car to infiniti for maintenance and talked to Jacob about the G37's...just wait till the prices go down....i got mine last year for around 37k....i drove the loaner 07(in pic) at again and it boogies.....who's your dealer at nissan/infiniti?? i got mine from Jon Sevila....good guy...check him if he's still doing the infiniti side though.....shooootz

 

its all good. but ya ive driven both. its just a personal choice, but ya i'd hate to regret buying one over the other...or i wouldn't want someone else to either. but ya i hear where you are coming from.
