07 g35 coupe

So i went to the local infiniti dealer today, and looked at a 07 g35 coupe fully loaded (navi, prem pack, sport tuned suspension) athens blue, with black interior. So msrp is 41,055, and the salesperson told me he would give it to me for $38,903, so that 2152 off msrp. Is that good or should I be asking for a lot more? I obviously want to get the BEST possible deal. Especially since the 08' g37 coupe is just around the corner. I live in oregon so no taxes, so what kind of price should i look for out the door? thanks in advance!

Thats not a bad price for a fully loaded coupe. But like you said, the '08 are right around the corner. Try getting a lower price. I'm sure the salesperson have more "room" to lower the price. Your "bargaining" should be justified, it is an outgoing model.

I'm in the same boat as you, also looking at an Athens Blue but not fully loaded. sticker price is 39K. if they drop that price to under 35K, i'd seriously consider it. Till then, I'm torn between the G35, G37, and a BMW
E92. (flame suit on).

The invoice on it is around 37.5k, "fair" price right now would be 500 under invoice, take look few threads in "buying and leasing " sections to see what other have paid as of late.

ya i will look at some other threads, I have seen some people saying out the door on a loaded coupe (similar to the one I am looking at) and getting it for around 35k (taxes and titles included). If anyone has got a real good deal, please let me know what your price was and specs on the car.

Its very unlikely that one can get 41k G35 for 35k OTD, even if its in the States that dont have sales tax, unless there are some other things involved in that deal.

I think you can do better. I got a $39k coupe for $35k before taxes and fees, but that was with incentives to the dealer. Are they still offering financing specials? That has to be factored in also.

Hey, I got my coupe which was stickered at 40,000 for 35k out the door. That is all after tax, title, and license. It came with the Aero Package and premium package. It had everything except the nav and is a 6MT. So ask for lower and go up to your set price.

Whats your sales tax rate? so they sold it to you at about 4k below invoice and 7.5k off MSRP?

Paying cash will not net you better deal. Dealer get their money about 2~3 days from banks, besides they could possiblely profit from finance.

When the dealers want to make a sale they'll give you a price you want. Don't worry about the invoice price. Also, if you finance you will get a better deal than paying cash. Doesn't infiniti have a low interest rate special running now?

have you ever driven the stick?
It's a completely different car.
I was contemplating an auto sedan and right before I signed the papers i took a 6MT coupe out and completely changed my mind. Couldn't be happier.
