Okay this thread is where you can brag about your exhaust and all of the compliments that you have gotten about it. List the type of exhaust that you have with what modifications and list your story.

I will start with a few.

1. Pull into starbucks in the morning before work and a guy comes in and says "that is a nice sounding infiniti you have there"

2. Driving through a neighborhood and I drive past a young kid around 10-12 years old and when I shifted from 1st to 2nd he through a thumbsup in the air.

3. Your car sounds so good I could hear it 3 cars back with my windows up and radio goin.

I have many more but I will let some other ppl take over with their stories about their wonderfull sounding VQ's!! btw I have an HKS Hi-Power

I got a guy with the Porsche 911 come up to me and said "dude I like the sound of your exhaust" I told him thanks. BTW mine is stock exhaust

 

I've never had anyone actually tell me they loved the way my G sounds! And
I'm on my third exhaust system Stillen true-dual, Borla dual system and my
current system Magnaflow single with Fuji Y. People on the streets do look
the minute I start my G, I do consider that a compliment!

 

i love the sound of my stock exhaust
i love the fact that whenever i'm out somewhere i can pick it out in the distance when i see another g roll by.

 

Got the same thing from a dude in a Porsche visiting someone in my condos. I was backing into the garage and he walked over and said" I like these "talking about G's in generally, then said that exhaust sounded great and asked if it was stock. BTW he was in a brand new Carrera 4s, still had the paper tags on it. Cool guy too.

 

If there's anyone in the garage at work, I'll always get a nice compliment when I start her up. I love the echo on the concrete.

I got into trouble the first month I had my exhaust. After dropping my smallest son at school, I heard him talking to his friends about " Mom's car makes square corners". I could heard all the little boys ooh and ahh, so I revved it a bit (A lot!)going out of the lot. I looked back to see eight or so little boys with thier fingers entwined in the fence, all making the Oooooh sound.

I looked forward to see the Principal giving me the dirtiest look. I'm now the troublemaker at school.

Injen's true dual Ti.

Was at a Nissan show-off event last year and reved it up. Everyone around egged me on to keep doing that...they loved the sound and some guy recorded it.

Pulled into a gas station once and got complements from a guy in a M3 on the low growl it has and thumbs up when I left sorta fast...lol...just for him

Then another time bunch of kids hanging out their windows on the fwy and saying 'lets hear it!!' Little blip to rev match, dropped in 4th and stomped it...should've seen their faces....

It's a little excessive on drone below 2800rpm, but I Effin love my Injen.

 

I dont even know where to start......i get complments almost every day. People are always chasing me down holding their cell phones out of the window taking video of my car! I love it, im such an attention *****.

 

some kid loved my exhaust so much, he threw a tomato at my car.

another older gentlemen enjoyed it so much, he plugged his ears because he couldn't stand such a beautiful sound.

a woman in her mid thirties fell in love with the tone of my exhaust when she her glassed cracked from the high pitch of my hks.

 

i have only notice that the people next to me eventually roll-up their windows...either they can't stand the sound or the smell of 91 octane

 

its quite embarassing to me when your car is cold, start it up, and its at like 2000.. but when its warm, MAN does that exhaust sound good.

 

when a older client drives the coupe or FX i tell them the exhaust is loud for a reason...

let's say kids are playing in the middle of the street- Infiniti made the exhaust loud so the kids can hear you and will move.... safety feature.
