Idiot dealership
I took my car to the dealership to get a brake fixed, and told them not to wash it. THEY ACTUALLY LISTENED but the ******* car still came back with 3 giant scratches on the hood that were definitely not there when i brought it in. If i take it back they will probably deny that they did it. What should i do?

How deep are the scratches, can you feel them?
If they aren't too deep, Meguiars Stage one or Meguiars Paint Cleaner will remove them no problem. Just wipe it off right away, don't let the stuff sit once you apply it
I wouldn't trust the dealer to touch the car, do it yourself or take it somewhere

once your car leaves the lot, the dealer won't bother with scratches. and i do agree. not only are the dealership retarded, but the bodyshop also. had my fender repainted do to some scratches after the headlight recall.
my car came back with swirls mark, kick marks, and other fine scratche on the clear coat. looks like the used some old army boots to wash my car and then proceded to use sandpaper to wipe it dry.

I am in the same boat. I paid a highly respected detailing guy to remove swirls and he did a phenomenal job at it. Then I took it to the dealership to get the headliner replaced and they washed it after I told them not to They did apologize and offered me to take it to them so they could remove whatever swirls they put on. They said it would take " a couple of hours" and I told them my guy worked on my car for almost 8 hours. I havent taken it to them because I simply dont trust their stupid detailing workers. Pisses me off!!
