Yo Vinny, we gotta start calling you "leadfoot".
How's those tires holding up?

hehe

Some of us never hit the highway. I get between 16 and 19, depending on where I'm going.

A Picture is worth a 1000 Words :-)

Each interval = full tank of gas until empty (300+ miles a tank)
50/50 city/highway

around 3000K miles on my coupe now.

16-17 avg.. reset it for my weekly trip down to Cerritos - had a good empty freeway day and got 24 avg. Of course, it drops down to [censored] during my daily drive to work.

I think it's important to understand where you are driving, more than how you are driving. Back in California where i live, i was averaging 20-21 (city streets and highway), in New York i was getting 18 (mostly city streets), and now here in Florida I'm getting roughly 24 (but because i'm on highways most of the time)

Yeah Im up to 19.3.

I was on the highway with a friend of mine that hadnt been in my car yet so I was showing what it could do. After a few hard pulls from a roll, and a run to 100 and one to 120, I get 19.3 mpg.

But I have a tendency to take off from stoplights, so I drive all over the city and get like 16-17! Sucks because I need to be REAL mellow pulling away from lights now. But its so hard to!
