getting up the driveway......

going to be slamming the car soon...but have a question to
those that have lowered their g's and have a driveway that
is on a bit of an incline...my G will be approximately 3'' off
the ground and i know if your car is lowered you have to hit
things with an angle..but the issue is getting over the curb
right before the beginning of the driveway..so i was
wondering if anyone had built something and placed it at the
beginning of their driveways to make that transition from the
street to the driveway not such an abrupt one...such as
placing a plank of wood that allows you to get up the driveway safely

dude, gene isn't even 3" off the ground...and you're not slamming it more than him. if anything, his splash guard is 3" off the ground. but that should be the least of your worries. hell, the only part of my car that is 3" off the ground is the sideskirt, and i'm probably lower than you're going to go.

post a picture of your driveway.

that would be such a PITA to have to do every time you come in/out of the driveway.

even if you do scrape...a little scraping isn't going to hurt your bumper/skirts.

I would get a bag of asphalt from Home Depot and rent a heavy flat square hammer thingy (ask the guy at Home Depot - it's shaped like a flat iron square attached to the end of a thick wooden rake pole), and fill in that channel at the end of your driveway. Use the heavy tool to flatten and compact the asphalt.

Just be aware that it's probably against city ordinances to modify the street or sidewalk. That will definitely affect drainage of rainwater.
