Ya I have it too. How do I get a manual for this stereo system. I don't know what some of the bottons do. .

There's this one that lists different styles of music. I don't know if that's for the listening conditions or for a list of stations.

Same here, I have the button and it does the exact same thing.

Dealer says it was pre-wired for Sat radio, don't know if he was BS'ing me or not. Got the coupe in the middle of Dec. Heard coupes made after a certain date were supposed to be pre-wired for Sat radio, not sure though.

I got mine in November, 1st allocation and it has the SAT button. I don't think the dealers have the clarion reciever available for it yet. Sat radio would be cool, but I don't know if I want that antenna sticking outside the car.

I think Sat radio need some sort of a station ID for it to work and must be activated so it will receive the signal, I thought I read somewhere there was a way to get the station ID in the Coupe to display this and then subscribe..this night be worth it if you spend too much time in your car otherwise burned MP3 on a CD is more economical..

The SAT button is to switch to Satellite Radio. XM Radio or Sirius kits are available. The kit includes an antenna for the roof (small, flat) and a satelitte radio receiver. It uses Nissans N-bus to connect to the Head Unit.

The Sat button is on the BOSE i think (i don't know, i don't have the car yet).

Re: Does your coupe have a Sat. radio button?

The different styles of music is part of the RDS (Radio Data System) stuff. If the radio stations broadcast RDS signals, you can pick a type of music, and it'll search for a station that plays that type of music. Stations that send out RDS signals display their station call sign, among other things, on your radio display instead of just the frequency number. I've heard that in Vegas, some stations use it to scroll ads on your radio. (Joy!) The use of the radio should be documented in the owner's manual, even if it isn't the best manual. Also, your salesperson should have gone over it with you when you purchased the car. If they didn't, it's up to you on whether or not to ding them for it on the customer satisfaction survey.

thanks ryoken, I was wondering why it desplayed RDS and had the station name on the display. I have one RDS station and it sounds better then the rest. I don't know if that has anything to do with RDS, but those stations probably send out a better signal.

I don't think there's anything in RDS itself that improves the signal, it's just a data stream. However, I'd imagine that any station bothering with RDS these days has probably invested more money in their transmission equipment than the competitors. Or maybe they're just physically closer to you.
