Door Locks Broken

Hey guys i took my G to the south motors infiniti because both of my door locks do not work with the keyless entry, the dealer said they are busted, i need new ones. anyhow they said it was close to $800.00 dollars, yah i almost stroked out!!!
for G owners in, any suggestions whom can fix these for cheaper, or how to replace them??? thanks any advice is appreciated...

so the motor is not unlocking the door? if thats the case just replace the actuators yourself

$800 Might as well bring some lube. What yr is your vehicle because looking at your member join date, I'd assume it's either an 05 or 06 which is still under warranty.

If indeed your warranty is out and you end up paying for it, screw it and go with an aftermarket alarm system. As long as the power doors are still operable, they'll unlock using the aftermarket alarm. Sheesh!

Gees what happened this weekend. There is a similar thread that myself and others posted in about our doorlocks going out. Mine goes in for service tomorrow morn.

my car is an 03, warranty is over, i have extended warranty but the FU***'s dont cover that sh**, i guess ill go with an aftermarket alarm system, my door locks are not completly broken, sometimes they open sometimes they dont, is like they get stuck somehow, so i have to open the doors with the key, ITS DRIVING ME MAD...

I made a similiar post a few days ago with the same exact issue, except in my case the door would not lock.. Strangely it does open...

I am also in Miami, FL. I read in another online forum that humidity and heat can cause the locks to stick when using the keyless entry... I'm wondering if that is partially to blame. Like you I have an 03 that I just purchased a few days ago, but the warranty is about to expire on it tomorrow and I'm stuck on a business trip in Atlanta... Should I call the dealer tomorrow to describe the problem, and does anyone think the dealer will fix it two days after the expiration of the warranty?>
