old & new ride

just wanna say hi..so far i only painted the grills gloss black and have LED sidemarkers....wheels and tires have arrived but not the coilovers
so i didnt take any side pics coz i think its too common, once i have the wheels and coils on, i will post more pics of the car..anyway onwards with pics shall we
btw i'm a noob so spare me the flaming lol!! like my previous car, i'm gonna mod the crap outta the G...planning to get projectors, bodykits and performance mods next but it'll take a long time coz i have to start from zero again (which means i have to start saving up again sigh)
of course imo starting from zero is where all the fun begins

ps: my old car is the bimmer...sold it for a manual 04 g35 coupe full opt
totally worth it since i still have some money left for mods...and i love the G a lot more than the bmw

How's the drive between the 2? The BMW should be a lot smoother and less road noise correct?

you're absolutely right but my e90 was BORING!! its automatic, power was so-so and has little fun factor...german cars are a lot more expensive to mod too and i had to drop a lot of money on my e90 to turn into a neck-breaker
i just got back from norwalk drag strip today and lots of people were gawking at the G as i drove by, the G coupe definitely attracts more attention than my e90....plus i love the stock exhaust note
i dont think i'm going back to german cars anytime soon, maybe when i'm 40

welcome man! I myself sold my e36 to help pay for the G. BMWs are great cars, but the G is totally different.

Nice, generally people go from G's to bimmers, not the other way around. I love the feel of the bmw, can't deny that.

So let me get this straight. You buy a new BMW, spend a grip modding it, then dump it for a three year old G?

I wish I had your money. Welcome to the family - you'll love your G.

yup
apparently the 3 year old G has less mileage then my 2 year old bmw...when i bought the G, it only has 20,100 miles on it and it has a lot more power and fun factor
