Heating and Air Conditioning Buttons Lights

I have a 2004 Coupe I bought this week , I have notice that when I turn the A/C power off .1 light will still be on , no fan or anything running , just the fresh air button light is still on. Is this normal ,

Sorry to bump this old of a thread, but is there anyway to turn the fresh air button off??? I have to park my car in some broken down parking lot off of my university and the cabin starts to smell like the University after it rains. I have clicked the button but it never turns off.

Press the recirculated air button with the system off. It closes the out side vents.
