replacing stock bumper...do i need new clips?

OK, so I'm about to replace my front bumper and i start removing the little black plastic clips that hold the stock one on and i couldn't get them to come out in one piece no matter how careful i was. So after pulling out all of the ones that are over the grill i decided to stop and ask everyone here how they'd did it.

Did any of you throw the old ones away and go with new ones? If so, where'd you get the new ones? The Nissan dealer closest to my house wants $1.25 for each new clip and I need to replace like 20 of them!!!

any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

mods, can you move this if there's a form better suited for it. i noticed no one really reads the exterior one and i thought any info that comes out of this would be helpful for people that needed to purchase new clips anyway.

If you broke them than you will need to replace them. The easiest way to remove the tabs is with a special tool (I forget what it's called but I have one). Those things are a PITA to take out.

Don't you just pop the center out and pull the clip out?

yeah that's what i was doing, but the first two came out without any of the little flexi clip parts on (they all broke off) and the rest came out missing one or two. 1 came out fully intact.

i was being extremely careful too, gingerly prying the center piece up till it pupped up, then gently working the larger piece out of the hole.

So, like i said, where can i get these things cheaper than a buck twenty five a piece?
