No Sunroof??
Here is one
I am very glad I waited three months for my special order G35 coupe with no sunroof FOUR years ago. How can time go so fast. Anyway, yes they are rare!

Not the best angle or picture of my car, but obiously shows off the roof. The aero package was not available from the factory with a base model, so if it is installed it was a dealer installation. That is what I had done.

Many people don't agree with me which is why there are so few. My three reasons are.
1) No chance of leaks, creaks, and rattles. Also my wife's old car had a sunroof and the glass cracked at the corner which was not a cheap fix.
2) I sit fairly upright and am tall enough for my hair to graze the roof when I went for my first test drive. Now that I have tracked my car a few times I have also learned that a helmet will clear the roof too with no sunroof. You have a little over an extra inch of headroom with no sunroof.
3) Remember that my car is an 04 and at the time not a single dealer in my state would deal on the G35 coupe. So ordering a base model saved me about $2000.00. The sunroof was/is bundled with the premium package.
Now I am different than almost everyone else
Not that it really matters, but my car is probably about 50 to 70 pounds lighter and 30 some pounds of that is from above my head. That does make a small difference at the track in the handling department and I need all the help I can get
I know I am weird. I can't help it. Keep enjoying that car of yours...it looks great in your avatar.

I kind of agree with the no sunroof - i very rarely use the thing and it makes the tan headliner dirty as *****, if you drive with the sunroof open. I would much rather have my car 60 pounds lighter, but at the same time i wouldn't.

Calvin, Your car is SWEET!!!
If you look closely, "Mini Me" has no sunroof as well...LOL. I have not looked at this picture of my car in a long time.

Who else has some pictures of their rare "hard tops"?
