Re: Salt Sculpture

Yeah yeah we might have road salt, but some thug isn't going to steal our car every time we turn a corner. That and our chances of getting shot in out car is lower too! You can keep you L.A. weather, if it mean living in L.A.

Re: Salt Sculpture

I am amazed you are even driving that car with snow on the ground!! If it snows mine sits at home and the maxima is my ride for the day. Course, that is a two fold reason, 1. max is better in the snow and 2. I can stomach the max being dirty for a little while anyway

Re: Salt Sculpture

I have lived in LA for almost 19 years and no one has ever shot at my car, a friends car, or anyone I have ever worked with. You watch too much BayWatch.

Not saying its never happened, but I can tell you that the first time I ever saw a car compleatly stripped sitting on the streets was when I went to New York.

Re: Salt Sculpture

I wish I could drive another car to work today... yet, I only have one car. I can only afford one car. Coming out of college and lots of loans... I didn't want a Corolla or Civic as my first car.. only cause I knew I'd be too cheap to replace it with something like a G35 for the next 8 years..

So yeah.. I had to drive this car in the snow, but I'm not regretting it one bit.

Re: Salt Sculpture

Yeah, I hear ya on the loans. i am only 25 myself so not much better off. For now I am keeping my old car (maxima) that I had in college. At the end of this winter I am gonna sell it. Then for next winter I will buy something cheap again (unless I can afford nicer ), then sell it again at the end of the winter, etc... I will just keep doing this till I can afford to own an SUV full time - lol
