Re: 2004 G35 Coupe Purchase NJ Help
I got mine at Douglass Infiniti in Summit NJ. Good overall experience, not terribly pushy. Got a hair knocked off of sticker about a month ago.
PM me if you have any specific questions about that place.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

I got mine at Circle Infiniti in W.Long Branch N.J....I don't know if your looking for a 6MT or auto....I ordered my car in July 03...so I had some of the first new 04s I did not or should I say could not get them to budge!!!! I hear now that some are getting a better break on certain models in inventory////
shop around and see whats going on...also try Ray Catena in Edison...and theres Ramsey Infiniti and Park infiniti up in Bergen County area as well...also lynnes Infiniti in Bloomfield..hope this helps....the discount depends on you and how determined you are to barter....sometimes it just doesn't pay....they may throw in some "goodies" but don't expect too much....20ld4this

Why oh why do you guys pay MSRP? Keep calling around, go out of state if you have to. Contact Ralph Kinchen @ Grubbs Infiniti before you buy anything, they are great you might find you a better deal!

Thanks for all the help I work in South jersey and 2 days a week In Bergen county so Im pass alot of dealers to try a bunch of dealers and avoid my impulse to buy the first one I see. I will post my results and how much there are willing to take of MSRP maybe the next snowstorm day will help to shop.

I just Bought my G35c 6mt at Circle Infiniti in West Long Branch last Monday. Sticker was 37865. I paid 36365. 1500 off, just talking on the phone with 3 dealers in the area. The bargaining took all of 1 hour. Good luck, PM me if you need more info.

Re: 2004 G35 Coupe Purchase NJ Help
Alright, I'm getting a car in the beginning of may. I know I'll have the money, but I'm still very unsure of what car I want. I have it narrowed down to two main cars. One being the g35 6spd coupe and one being the mitsu lancer evolution 8. There is also the regular wrx, a used 2001 m3, maybe a 350z or maybe even the sti that I may consider. I don't need to hear about how any of these other cars are better or worse. I have done plenty of analyzing and now it is just about what fits my taste. My questions to you guys are:
1. Is it possible to get a 6 speed coupe for about 33 - 34 b4 tax, title, etc?
2. I have looked online for the 6 speed coupes in black with the sunroof and aero kit with no success. Does anyone know of any place that has this setup?
3. And lastly, if I were to order one and it was possible to get the 6spd coupe for around 33 - 34 with the aero kit and sunroof, how long do you think it would take to get it in? (I heard about 3 months...)
p.s. I am going to buy whatever car I'm getting in the beginning of may. The g35 is definitely the nicest looking car in and out of all of them and it's got decent performance to boot. So I would need to know if this (number 3) kind of deal is possible so I could go out and look soon..
Thanks!

As of the middle of last week Lynne's infiniti in Jersey had a couple of Black coupes. The setup that you're talking about doesn't sound impossible to get for that price but it may be impossible to get period. You would need to get about 1500 off sticker. I got 1500 off msrp in Philly for a 6mt loaded black on black coupe. The problem is that the sunroof and aero are usually packaged with the premium package. If you can find one then the price should be fine. I had a great experience with infiniti of ardmore in Philly. Talk to Jeff Williams. He'll help locate the car and they will work with you. Message me if you have specific questions.
Re: 2004 G35 Coupe Purchase NJ Help
What would the price be for an 6 spd coupe with the premium package? I just found one somewhere around me online. It says invoice 33k and msrp 36. Do you think 34,500 would be too low for the dealer to go?
Re: 2004 G35 Coupe Purchase NJ Help
I haven't heard of anyone getting more then $1500 off but I have heard of a few (including myself) who got $1500 off. If it is in stock then you may have more room to negotiate. I don't think it's unreasonable. It would depend on the attitude of the dealer but I would move quickly if you can get it locked in. As the weather breaks more people will want them and the flexibility will probably be less.
Re: 2004 G35 Coupe Purchase NJ Help
i got mine from douglas infinit also. mine was ordered in june, delivered in sept., first shipment of 04's.
back then i got 1250 off msrp, which was unheard of at the time for a 6mtC. also got some misc items thrown in.
i know others who have gotten similar discounts. they are off rt 24/78. my sales guy was gil coronado. 908-522-7300
they would probably discount more now as other dealers are doing so.
04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

Re: 2004 G35 Coupe Purchase NJ Help
First I'd check if your place of employment is on the Infiniti VPP list (see below). If yes, then expect ~$3000 off MSRP. Just beware the car has to be on the VPP list when it arrives on the lot if you order. Mine's on order and assuming the coupe doesn't get pulled I'll get one hell of a deal..just under $33k for Coupe/6MT/DG/Willow/Prem/Splash/Lip. There are only a few dealers that will do VPPs on coupes (Grubbs, Dublin in Ohio, possibly others)

2nd check out the neighboring zips on the infiniti site for your configured car. Start changing zips with the 150 mile radius and you might get lucky. Since I was looking for specific options/colors I didn't get lucky, plus the VPP would make it harder to make a deal.
3rd If the car is in stock you are set. I'm on the 3 month boat for waiting. I caught the order period just right (1st week of month I think) so with luck by end of March it "could" be in.
4th The G35 Coupe is soooo much more of a classy car than any of those you mentioned outside of the Z which has a purist sport design IMO. Where I am I see few of them and they look very respectful and have a stronger brand that should help them hold value. You buy the others and yes, they would be fun and have good stats, but I can't say I look at them and say "Wow". For me the G is a more mature car that will attract attention not just for performance.
Good luck in your purchase.
