^ Cool deal then! Like I mentioned earlier...find out what TSB(s) have been or should be performed. Any mention of an extended warranty since the original is out?

It still covered by 70K miles or 6 yrs powertrain warranty. No idea about other warranty though... How much is the extended one?

The car looks like it is great shape, and 54K miles for a 4 year-old car is nothing.

i have that same blue, its sick. esp when the light hits it. i'd bargin first and if it doesnt work i'd still buy it for that price.

and its def. not a "cheap" color. its rare, so u barely see another g on the freeway with that color.

As far as being considered a "cheap" color, I couldn't disagree more.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder......I think this color has the most striking changes/differences when different ambient light hits it......and that alone makes it a very desireable color to own.

Ask any CB owner if they think their car color looks cheap.....I don't think you will get anyone to agree.

If you don't like the color, fine....but don't call it cheap.....
OK, maybe he shouldn't say cheap but it was the worst color that came in the G, IMHO. Yes, it is a rare color for a reason I mean really, every time I see one in person, I just cringe and think that that color should only be on the Suburu's and Mits. Maybe he should say "That color makes the car look 'cheap'", that way he is stating an opinion Of course if you are going to ask any CB owner if they think that that car color looks cheap, they won't say yes. They bought it, didn't they? And the last statement about ambient light hiting it makes it striking, so what about the other 90 % of the time when it looks like an eyesore? OK, ok, this is only our perspective on the color, so I own't bash it that color any more

Anywho, I think that is alot of miles for a used G for an 03 (3 years roughly, with ~12K per year should be about 36-40K miles). You should get an extended warranty with it for sure.

mephistomyhero........

I respect your opinion and the rebuttal.....However, if I may point out something....

Yes, it is a rare color for a reason I mean really, every time I see one in person, I just cringe and think that that color should only be on the Suburu's and Mits.
If this is the case, then I'll assume that the following are in the same category

a) Twilight Blue
b) Serengeti Sands
c) Platnium Silver

Here are three examples of rather "rare" colors also available for the G....
So I can assume that these colors were not chosen as well because they made the car look "cheap"?

And the last statement about ambient light hiting it makes it striking, so what about the other 90 % of the time when it looks like an eyesore?
Also, what I meant when I said ambient light, was that yes it looks good in bright sunlight, but it also has the ability to change colors with the different light thru out the day/night......This color is spectacular in most or all lighting......can one say that for My color, or DG or OB for that matter?

I know its all opinion, but not everyone wants to have the cookie cutter colors that make their cars look all the same.....mine included

If you're gonna get it, you might want them to include, for free, the latest NAVI CD for your system. That's $200+, I think.

Funny thing you mentioned those other colors:

a) Twilight Blue
b) Serengeti Sands
c) Platnium Silver

I think these colors are not as apealling either. However, I do like Lakeshore Slate, the other blue color in 06, and that other blue color that offered in the 08 Sedan (the dark one).

Well, that is true regarding "cookie cutter" colors. However, I think our DG and IP are different because they have metallic flakes in them which stands out more. Yes, it's more common, I agree.

Lastly, I actually think that CB look awful in bright sunlight in particular. You are right though, it does look decent when the sunsets and the sun cast a golden color onto the car (yes, I live out in the west by the ocean where this happens alot ).

Anywho, we all have different tastes so that is why there are many colors to choose from

Thanks Mephistomyhero, you are both a gentleman and a scholar.......

It was fun having our little debate about a color neither of us own!

I think you were referring to Athens Blue, which I might ad is very similar to CB.

Also, I could be 100% wrong here, but I believe the Carribean Blue has a Pearl flake in it as well, which made it another pretty tough color to match....

I think that is what really made that color go from deep blue to a aqua marine color in different light....

So it does have moonroof...Hey dont worry about what other said about the color, as long as you like it? thats what counts.

Just couple things on the 03's, the brake pads/rotors tend to wear out quicker than usual and have huge amounts of brake dust, but set of aftermarket pads/rotors would take care of it, the power window motors tends to go out as well.

I only have around 20K budget for the car and only this G match that criteria in craigslist.org. I think not a lot of people are looking to buy the G with this color... That's why this car is for sales at around $3,000 less than blue book value. I always like the blue color anyway so it definitely work to my advantage.
