Types of Gasoline

Anyone have a preference when it comes to premium gas? Any reason to go with any of the bigger companies; Shell, Exxon etc? Appreciate your thoughts.......Rick

Some companies add additives to their gasoline such as Shell and Chevron. But it is a very small quantity so in order for you to notice a difference, you have to be consistently be pumping there for a while.
Many of the stations underground tanks where the gasoline is stored often leak in water when it rains. Many owners are able to get away with it and don't change the tanks until it gets really bad. In the mean time, everytime it rains, guess where the water is going.
It's always best to go to the newest station or to a newly remodeled one to avoid contamination. Also, in the summer time, it's best to pump in the mornings so you get the most out of your gas.
