Grounding Gear or Stillen
Re: Grounding Gear or Stillen
I don't think you're going to see a huge difference between all of the different brands. It's a passive modification so the differences will mainly be in the craftsmanship. The factors in choosing a brand would be quality, price, and color. If you read the thread in the tech section everyone seems to be very impressed with gordgee's work. I've also seen a set that a friend of mine made for his G and they do the same job.

If you look at Stillen, you will notice that it is only Tsunami power cable that is sold at Best Buy....Not worth the price they ask....I made my own.

Re: Grounding Gear or Stillen
TrentaCinque is right. There is not going to be a huge performance difference between any well made wire. Stillen's is a nice kit, but many prefer wire that is thicker than 8 gauge. I invested a fair amount in manufacture equipment that gives the wires a consistent 'crafted' look and the strongest electrical/mechanical bond (4000 psi crimping machine) and I spec'd wire that is plated oxygen-free cable to resist oxidation. GroundingGear™ tries to incorporate all current theory, but that's just me trying to differentiate it from the competition for the retail market. How much actual difference it makes is unknown. I do however, like Stillen's better than the kits like HKS that use a central grounding block (looks cool, costs more, not optimal lengths, and introduces a source of signal noise).
So the choice is yours. Even a well made one done by yourself will make a difference.
