It's sad that some people who are "enthusiasts" don't know S#it past their own car. I use to drive a 2000 Prelude before I got my G, and even though I completely respect the E36 and don't think i hate ANY car, I'm proud to say that my Prelude was not only quick in straight lines(beating my friend's V8 Camaro from a dig a billion times) to keeping up with the best on the twisties. I just wish that people like that bimmer owner who posted the kill would take a course in car education to know what different cars are capable of, and with proper and custom mods any car can do almost anything, which is why I was super pissed when he was bagging on that maxima owner, it takes a true enthusiast to pick up a Maxima and put in pure effort to make a monster out of it, straight line or not. I just wish we'd all get along!!!!

I own a bmw 2002 from 1971 and I'm not an arrogant ***** about it, guys need to learn to appreciate cars for cars, not brands. I should walk over there and say, i drive a honda. Immediate flames, then i tell them it's a comptech supercharged NSX.

Before the 90's bmws were driven by drivers, not *********, same with ferrari's a bunch of yupies driving them now.

Someone go post a link about the GTR destroying anything and everything on the ring. Oh ya, the new e90 m3 was not even in contention with the GTR, porsche 997 turbo or gt3, it wasn't worth their time or bmw's embaressment.

Let me educate you on the bimmer vs. beamer...

bimmer = bmw cars
beamer = bmw motorcycles

Hopefully you understand now. Don't say anything like that to bimmer drivers. They are very sensitive about it.

wow...i think thats bull****....i raced a E36 the other night....he jumped on me and i reeled him in and beat him by about 1 1/2 cars....his was a MT with exhaust....my car is STOCK

 

that would be street racing... i'm sure you meant that you saw him on a 1/4 track or on a sanctioned raceway of some sort, and then......
