Angry Please help me.............

Okay so I come back froms classes today and see some advertisements jammed in my driver window, no big deal UNTIL I open the door to put down my books and jacket and then the advertisements fall down into my door (in between the window and the rubber lineing).

Should I be worried that they will catch fire or cause some sort of a short? I hate the idea of leaveing them in there but I also hate the idea of having some stupid idiot take the door apart.

When ever something is takin apart it never goes back the same, My luck I would end up with some horrible rattle or my door not shuting right or my windows not working right.

Sorry I wrote so much but this just happened and really needed to rant.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Also who knows if theres other adds that have fallen into my door when person just jams them in there, they dont make sure that its perfect.

So please from now on if any one of you wants to advertise your stupid club or whatever just put it under the windsheild wiper if you can handle that.

The worst case scenario would be that it jammed up your window motor. Where in Jersey are you.

I had so much stuff in my hands so I opened the door up with my pinky finger, thinking that the rubber seal is pretty tight and it never crossed my mind that it would slide so easily.

Basicly its a painfull mistake I will never make again.

lol I am sorry...but that's kinda funny....

Should not be a problem. If you have tint, it could always scratch it, but assuming it would never be able to make it to that side of the glass it should not be an issue. My guess is the first time you put the window down its going to be scruntched into the bottom and not a cause a problem.

yeah man, I own a bodyshop, a lot of cars I take apart in my shop have flyers & stuff in the door, shouldn't cause any harm, I definatley wouldn't pay someone to take the door apart for that, don't even worry about it...

I totally hear you. I hate it when they stick flyers on my window. I had one slide in while I tried to grab it. Pissed me off.

I've been told by numerous gas attendants back in Jersey that people stick their credit cards in that gap thinking they're all suave only to have them fall down into the door. lol.

+1

I'm not telling you to do this but I'm in the 3rd year driving my G and on year one the same thing happened...
I worried about what it would cost and didn't want to remove the door panel from a perfect door so I left it, time passed...
Nothing ever happened and I guess that paper has settled way down in the door somewhere never to be seen again.

Yeah, but if it was your daughter at the prom, maybe it would have been better to let the bra alone a few more years?

I'm saying, my window works fine and the screws are still virgin!
